Resources Tab ÔUnexpected ErrorÕ
Issue
This problem is related to permissions on the Resources
Page/Site. It appears that in some cases the permissions for this site become
corrupted and need to be reset. To correct this issue you can either:
1. Log a call with the ICTDS Service
Desk on 01926 414100, or
2. Correct the issue yourself using an
administrator account (methods shown below).
Fixing the Issue
If your standard WeLearn365 username has been promoted to
Site Administrator Level (i.e. it allows you to edit all aspects of your school
site), you can use that account to fix the issue. Otherwise you will need to
log on with the original Site Administrator details that were sent to your headteacher at the end of the summer term last year.
Depending on which account you are using the method is slightly different:
Standard WeLearn365 username with admin access
1. Go to www.welearn365.com
2. Select your school, click go and log
on in the normal way.
3. Once logged on, click the Resources
tab. This may take a little longer than normal to load, but once visible should
now have fixed the issue.
4. Test on another computer using a
standard (non-administrator) account. If the issue is still not fixed, please
try the alternative method below or log a call with the Service Desk.
Site Administrator username and password
Please note that you will be unable to use this method on
any PC that has single sign on to the Learning Platform; his includes all
Warwickshire Curriculum PCs. An admin PC may therefore be the best option.
1. Open a browser and type in https://welearn365.sharepoint.com/sites/XXXNNNN where ÔXXXÕ is your three letter school code
and ÔNNNNÕ is your DFE number.
2. Logon using the administrator
account that will be in the format XXXNNNN@welearn365.sharepoint.com and the password as originally
provided.
3. Once logged on, click the Resources
tab. This may take a little longer than normal to load, but once visible should
now have fixed the issue.
4. Test on another computer using a
standard (non-administrator) account. If the issue is still not fixed, please
log a call with the Service Desk.
